Meet Our Director
My name is Maria Ackerman and I’m your Center Director at Willows Child Learning Center in Quebec. I began my early childhood education journey 7 years ago as a teacher, and then moved towards administration. My passion for education sparked my first experience inside a classroom. The impact that an educator has on each individual child was something I always aspired to have.
As a Director, I seek to build a community of support inside and out of our center. I want our school to be a safe, welcoming space where families are happy to be each week. As a mom of two kids, most of my weekends are filled with park days and local activities. Although we originally come from far away, Colorado has been a wonderful place to call home for my family.
